At the recent Shifting Tides event in Rostrevor, a panel, facilitated by Alexander McMaster, talks with guests about  citizen science and its relationship with community action.


Panellists

  • Dain McParland is a veteran Scientific Diver, Instructor and the Founder of Oceanauts Diving, an SSI Dive Centre located along the shore of Carlingford Lough

  • Claire Casey, Marine Biologist and Coordinator for Seasearch Northern Ireland

  • Dave Wall is the citizen science officer at the National Biodiversity Data Centre.

  • Martha Farrell is a founding member and Director of the coastal community group Maharees Conservation Association

  • Tori Moore is the Marine Engagement Officer at Ulster Wildlife, with a focus on Marine Protected Areas

  • Robert Walsh is the Northern Ireland Marine Task Force Officer.
